Laboratory modules

These modules are the first of a series being developed for use by laboratory personnel. They are technology specific, and detail the basic heterozygous conditions which must be detected by the antenatal screening programme. The next series will deal mainly with  homozygous and compound heterozygous conditions, and various other modules, including a series of quiz questions are in the pipeline.

Introductory unit (this explains the principles of eLearning, ensures your computer is set up correctly and takes you through the registration process).

Please contact the SCT team if you need help with registration. (Note: module password is sent to you automatically and it may be placed in your junk folder)

The modules can be accessed after you have registered; they will prompt you to log in if you aren't already. Note that you will only be able to access the specific module that you registered for.

For more information on cross cutting education and training resources you can visit the Continued Professional Development website which has been developed by the UK NSC.
