| Translated information in other languages and formatsPages in this section: The NHS Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Screening Programme is mangaged by the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC). The UK NSC has responsibility for all non cancer screening, which includes all antental and newborn screening programmes in England. As such the NSC has produced a leaflet which contains information on antenatal and newborn screening programmes for mothers, fathers and newborn babies. They contain information on the conditions that are screened, how screening takes place and what the results mean. We are committed to translating some of our public information resources into other languages to improve access to screening.
