Prenatal diagnostic testing for haemoglobinopathies

Letter clarifying the funding arrangements for pre-natal diagnostic testing for haemoglobinopathies.  The costs of analysis of samples by specialist genetic centres is not in the national tariff and, therefore, must be funded by PCTs.
