Regional updates

The NHS Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Screening Programme is offering CPD accredited training days accross the England to update staff about the linked Antenatal and Newborn Screening Programme.  Items to be discussed will include a general update from the Screening Programme, regional feedback from implementation, quality improvement - now implementation is completed what next?; clinical care and clinical networks; labobatory updates; education and training updates; linkage between antenatal and  newborn screening. Delegates will be given the opportunity to particpate in an open forum.

The update day is aimed at all professional groups (acute trusts and primary care based) who may be involved with, have responsibility for, or are interested in the NHS Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Programmes.
