    Welcome to the NHS Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Screening Programme. Our linked screening programme helps to support people to make informed choices about screening for sickle cell and for thalassaemia during pregnancy and for newborn babies. We work with a variety of stakeholders including health care professionals and service users.
